Is this the world's best job? A zookeeper in China has to dress up as a panda in order to play with cubs.

This is because the animals, kept in the Wolong National Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province, are due to be released into protected wildlife.

The cubs have to learn to live on their own and not rely on humans, so zookeepers pretend to be pandas when they interact with the young animals.

The reason for the costume is because human attachment can hinder a panda's chances of survival once it is released.

Keepers have sometimes had to smear panda urine or faeces on the costume to mask their human smell.

It also protects panda cubs from experiencing stress as they feel they are with their mothers.
