Rumours that Beyoncé and Jay Z plan to split after their On The Run world tour are sparking a tabloid frenzy.
Although the couple have displayed affection during their sold-out tour, of late their wedding rings have been notable by their absence.
Unconfirmed reports say marriage counselling had failed to reignite their flagging union, and that they are planning a trial separation when the tour ends in Paris in December.
The New York Post quoted an unnamed source as saying: ''They are trying to figure out a way to split without divorcing."
It said although the birth of their child, Blue Ivy, 2, brought them closer, ''after a while Jay was out doing Jay and Bey was out doing Bey. ''
