Khumalo welcome at funeral: Meyiwa spokesperson

Kelly Khumalo is welcome after all at the funeral of her boyfriend Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates captain Senzo Meyiwa, according to a report.

"Parents say many things when they are upset," said Meyiwa family spokesman Siyabonga Meyiwa after the football star's father Sam initially banned her, Beeld newspaper reported on Thursday.

According to Siyabonga Meyiwa the family would also like the goalie's children to be present, including his child with the singer and actress.

Khumalo and Meyiwa were in a relationship when he was killed in a shooting at her family's home in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, on Sunday night.

The footballer was married to Mandisa Mkhize.
