Bomb threat at Clearwater Mall, bomb squad and dog unit are on the scene

Clearwater Mall on Johannesburg's West Rand was evacuated on Monday morning due to a bomb threat, paramedics said.

"We can confirm that there has been a bomb threat at Clearwater Mall," ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said.

"The mall has been evacuated due to the threat. As far as we know the bomb disposal unit and dog unit are on the scene."

Security at Clearwater Mall allegedly received a threat saying 4 bombs were planted inside. Building is being evacuated. #sabcnews@ER24EMS
