With fresh legs and renewed confidence was how the Bulls got back into the swing of things yesterday as they returned from a week's break.

Some rest and the fact that they recently picked up two confidence-boosting victories ensured the side from Pretoria returned to Loftus Versfeld with a spring in their step for their first training session ahead of their next Super 15 match.

The Bulls, currently placed seventh on the overall Super rugby log, will be up against the Western Force in Pretoria on Saturday.

An easy task for the Bulls, many would think, considering that the struggling side from Perth lie in 12th position on the 15-team log with only one win from five matches.

But in their previous meeting, the side from Perth emerged victorious with a 15-9 win in April last year.

On their previous visit to Loftus, the Force were defeated 36-26 in a thrilling encounter. But from five encounters since 2009, the Bulls have won three to the two victories by the Australians.

Force coach Michael Foley will be hoping his side will be able to find some luck on the road in their first match of the season in South Africa.

Last weekend the Australian side suffered a close 21-17 defeat to the Melbourne Rebels, handing them their fourth defeat of the season.
