Two boys drowned at Eersterus dam near Temba, on Saturday afternoon, Gauteng police said.

The boys, aged 12 and 15, were swimming at the dam when they drowned, Lieutenant Sarah Lesabane said.
They were later discovered by a resident who took their bodies out of the water, she said.
An inquest docket has been opened.
