As this week marked the beginning of Lent, many have taken to Twitter to declare what they're giving up for the 40 day period. 

Observed from March 6 to April 18, during this period many Christians choose to give up or temporarily remove certain foods and lifestyle habits from their daily routine in preparation for Easter.

Many vowed giving up negative habits, chocolates, social media and their favourite foods while others wanted to give up on some things that might just be impractical.
