Body of man found in Wemmer Pan Dam

The body of a man was found in the Wemmer Pan Dam, south of Johannesburg, paramedics said on Thursday.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said search and rescue teams found the body of the man, believed to be in his thirties, on Wednesday afternoon.

"The diver had already found the body in the dam and returned it to the nearby banks."

The man was declared dead on the scene.
