Premier begs Cyril: send SIU to probe municipality for corruption

Eastern Cape premier Oscar Mabuyane has asked the president to authorise the Special Investigating Unit to probe "irregular expenditure" of R1.4bn at OR Tambo District Municipality.

This includes a R4.8m Covid-19 awareness campaign.
