Watch the moment protesting crowds in Dallas run in fear as gunshots ring out

Two snipers have reportedly shot 10 police officers during protests in Dallas on Thursday night and four officers are dead, the city's police chief said.

This footage shows protesters walking and chanting and then suddenly turning and running back towards the cameraman.

The cameraman starts to run in the direction of where police sirens appear to be heading, then several loud booms can be heard.

The reported shootings come amid protests across the U.S. over the killing by police officers of two black men this week.
