Medics removed 526 teeth from a seven-year-old boy at the Chennai's Seveetha Dental College and Hospital in India.

The denticles - or small teeth - were in a tumour in the boys mouth and were removed on July 31.

Scans showed hundreds of masses on the lower right side of his jaw, which led to the medical procedure.

After a five-hour surgery, the teeth were removed.
