A nine-year-old boy survived being run over and dragged by a car in northern China on July 31 2019. The CCTV video was released by authorities on September 25 2019.

The boy was dragged forward for about 5m before reappearing from under the vehicle.

A nearby shop owner contacted the boy's parents and he was taken to hospital. Fortunately, he suffered only minor injuries.
