KwaZulu-Natal education department suspends top officials

The Department of Education in KwaZulu-Natal has suspended the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Director for Supply Chain Management.

“This is in a bid to have a clean governance and we are very serious when we say‚ we have zero tolerance for corruption in the Department. We want to warn other officials who may be involved in any type of corruption that they should stop‚” MEC Mthandeni Dlungwane said in a statement issued by the department.
