Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung extended an olive branch to want-away players Itumeleng Khune and Mandla Masango on Tuesday, saying the club is keen to re-open talks with them.
Both Masango and Khune’s contracts expire in less than seven days, on June 30, 2015, and the reigning PSL champions have already announced they will not be renewing their contracts.
Motaung said at the club's press briefing to unveil new players on Tuesday that Khune and Masango arrived for training at Naturena on Monday for "heart-to-heart chats" - an indication that they could yet still be turning out for Amakhosi next season.

Chiefs chairman last month lashed out at Khune and accused the goalkeeper of trying to hold the club at ransom and somewhat of being greedy during their broken down contract negotiations.
Khune has been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates or Mamelodi Sundowns, while Masango has been tipped to join Mpumalanga Black Aces or even follow former coach Stuart Baxter to Turkey.
