I am ... young, willing and able.

Where were you born? Mafikeng, North West.

Where do you live? Hyde Park.

Who do you share your house with? I live alone. Unless you count all my shoes, handbags and sunglasses.

How did you get into your career? At 15, I did a couple of kiddies' shows and then felt that I really want to take it further. I wanted to do something that would appeal to an older audience and that's when I auditioned for the Live music show. And I've been there ever since.

What's the most difficult thing about live TV? Anything can go wrong. You have that moment to get it right. There are no second takes. But I enjoy it because of the adrenaline rush.

If you weren't in the entertainment industry, what would you be doing? I was going to specialise in brand communication at Vega and then my career took a different direction.

What do you think is the secret to being successful in the entertainment industry? Keeping yourself and your reputation intact is important. There's a lot of money to be made in entertainment, but the career is short, so in that 10 years you need to make as much money as you can and then move out.

What do you do when you're not working? Travelling, shopping or dining out. I love discovering new boutiques and sexy places in Joburg.

What's your greatest extravagance? Shoes. I buy a pair a week. I've just bought a pair of Gucci shoes from their winter 2011 collection. They're platforms with gold piping. They're so stunning.

I'm predisposed to... Tweeting. I've got, like, 147000 followers. I always find time to tweet.

What's your favourite building in Joburg? The Norton Rose in Sandton - that beautiful building with black, grey and white glass. It's so sexy, and looks like something from Dubai.

What's the ugliest thing about Joburg? People walk all over each other just to get what they want in this city. And it is encouraged. People will look down on you. People will use you and they will befriend you for the wrong reasons. So there's not a lot of loyalty and you can't really trust anybody.

What is the most memorable moment you've had in Joburg? Being host of the South African Music Awards last year.

How do you get around? A BMW that I bought as a Christmas present to myself.

I can't go a day without... daydreaming about my future, the things I want to achieve, and the people that I want in my life. I find myself now, more than ever, thinking about where I'm going to be in the next three or four years, who I'm going to get married to. How my children are going to look, where I'm going to stay.

If you inherited R100-million, what would you do with it? I would buy the Sabi-Sabi Game Reserve. I love that place. Then I'd buy buildings all over Joburg. I would also buy shares and invest in companies. But, of course I'd also shop.

What CDs are you playing in your car? Bucie, Princess of House; Khuli Chana, Rihanna, Talk that Talk; Chrisette Michelle, Oliver Mutukudzi, Selaelo Selota.

If your house caught fire, what would you save? My shoes and clothes.

What are your creature comforts? I like to snuggle and watch TV because I rarely get the opportunity to.

What are you reading? Glamour magazine. I'm also reading a lot of online blogs. Everything for me has moved online. It's very seldom that I'll actually buy a magazine unless I'm on it.

When I go out at night... I always make sure I'm safe. I never go out alone in Joburg. But I also make sure that I look drop-dead gorgeous.

I always collect... luggage. I've got such an interesting collection. I've got one from my grandmother, and a Louis Vuitton one. I also go to vintage stores and buy boxes and baskets to put my jewellery and sunglasses in.

My friends and I like... to dine. We find the most amazing little restaurants in Joburg. We also love this city's gorgeous Highveld sunsets.

Perfect happiness is: Being with loved ones and laughing. With the smell of a really delicious meal being cooked in the background.

Have you ever taken public transport in Joburg? Yes, the Gautrain. I thank the Lord for the Gautrain. Now I don't have to pay R150 to park my car at the airport.

Everything in moderation but... shopping. You can shop and shop, especially if you don't have children or pets and don't drink or smoke. In London, specifically.

I met my partner... through a mutual friend while we were at university. I didn't like him then. We only stared dating four years later.

If money could buy happiness? Then every single person in this world would be happy, and deservedly so.

Loves&Hates

Red velvet cake: It's better than anything in the world.

Oxford Street in London: My shopping mecca.

Zoo Lake: I love how you can just park out there and have a picnic.

The electricity of Jozi: I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world. The hunger, fast pace and drive of this city makes it so amazing.

People who make me wait: I'm very impatient. It actually makes me sick.

Paying for parking everywhere: You're now forced to go look for an ATM.

The beggars at the traffic lights asking for money: I'm sensitive when I see someone suffering. It breaks my heart.

That Joburg doesn't have a beach: Because then we'd be the perfect city.
