TOKYO Sexwale has been romantically linked to a Salma Hayek-lookalike model.
The billionaire, who is in the midst of divorcing his wife Judy, recently introduced Nataxa da Silva, a Johannesburg model, as his girlfriend.
A former employee of Sexwale said Da Silva appeared to be in her mid-20s. She was introduced to the staff at one of his homes as his girlfriend.
"Chief [Sexwale] introduced her to us. We were a bit shocked because she looked as young as his daughter," the former employee told the Sunday Times.
"The chief and she stayed for the night and then left again."
When news broke in February of the pending Sexwale divorce, there were already social media comments about Da Silva.
One anonymous comment entry on a media blog read: "... Maybe one of the parties should explain where Nataxa da Silva fits into in all this..."
Divorce lawyer Billy Gundelfinger confirmed Sexwale's relationship with the model. "Da Silva, a law student and part-time model, are currently seeing [Sexwale]. Both Mr and Mrs Sexwale, who have been separated for a considerable time, are entitled to a private life, which includes seeing other people. I am confirming that Mr Sexwale is currently seeing Nataxa da Silva."
