Munton, 17, charmed judges with her thick brown locks and broad smile to win the 2012 Elle New Fresh Face Talent Search.

And now the youngster's modelling career is about to take off with a spread in the fashion magazine's April edition - and a contract with the Cape Town agency Boss Models. "Part of my prize was a two-year contract with Boss Models so I am very excited about the opportunities this will bring," said Munton.

The teenager stumbled upon the competition while perusing fashion websites on the internet last year.

Her prior experience is limited to modelling clothing for fashion students at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape.

Sandra Burt of Boss Models said: "What attracted us to Chloe was her wholesome beauty. She has the kind of face that has great commercial appeal and we hope that her incredible features, along with great hair and skin, will attract clients advertising beauty products. Chloe has a really lovely friendly disposition ... and is incredibly photogenic."

Munton plans to complete matric at the Collegiate High School for Girls in Port Elizabeth before officially courting the catwalk.

"As this is my final year at school, I need to concentrate on my matric studies as well. Next year will afford me more time to concentrate solely on modelling," she said.
