Big Brother expels housemate, removes another amidst rape rumours
The reality show sent out a shock statement that it had expelled a housemate and removed another from the house recently.
According to a statement released by Mzansi Magic, Adams has been expelled from the Big Brother house for misconduct.
Adams, real name Siyanda Ngwenya had partnered with Tembi who will remain in the house. The housemate who was removed for her safety, Bexx's partner Sozz, will also remain in the house.
"Another housemate, Bexx, has been removed for her own wellbeing. Both these contestants have been debriefed by the resident psychologist. Their partners have been given the option to remain in the competition," read the statement.
Twitter users have speculated that there was a rape in the house. Rapper AKA, asked why Big Brother had not acted upon seeing the alleged rape.
Mzansi Magic and DSTV which host the show, have not responded to speculation that a person was allegedly raped in the house. Nor have they made mention of police being involved as per procedure if a rape had taken place.
Isn't the concept of Big Brother, that Big Brother sees everything? ... If someone is being raped, does Big Brother just watch?
