Ntsiki Mazwai takes aim at Lorna Maseko for defending Rivers Church pastor
Outspoken activist and musician Ntsiki Mazwai has taken to Twitter to criticise Lorna Maseko for coming out in defence of a Rivers Church pastor over alleged racist comments made during a sermon.
Pastor Andre Olivier of Rivers Church in Sandton has hogged headlines after a video of his Sunday sermon sparked widespread debate.
While he's been receiving backlash from some members of the public, celebrities including Lloyd Cele, Tumisho Masha and Lorna Maseko came out strongly against the claims.
"Ps AndreGOlivier & wilmaeolivier have been so supportive to me. They are great leaders who love God, love people and love life," Lorna tweeted.
Responding to this tweet, Ntsiki took aim at Lorna, suggesting that she is "brilliant at assimulating whiteness."

Rivers Church has since issued a statement in response to the outrage explaining that it is saddened by the "damage" that has happened.
"We are deeply saddened by the damage that has prevailed from this weekend’s message. The content in question and expression thereof was clearly not meant for harm," said the church in a press statement.
