Reason calls out AKA over 'celebs need to speak up' rant
Rapper Reason has reacted with anger to a rant by AKA this week, saying that the Supa Mega's comments have left him feeling "so disappointed."
An outspoken AKA took to Twitter this week to shade local rappers who have chosen to keep quiet on political issues, saying that they need to speak out because their bars "don't mean sh*t."
People wanna ask, "what happened to rap" Nigga! What happened to RAP leading the youth! Speaking up?! Fuck your bars. They don't mean shit.

And while some fans might have agreed with his comment, they didn't sit well with fellow rapper Reason who reacted with shock to the tweet.
Are you for real right now??? https://t.co/FAUGMiecjK

AKA hit back at Reason, and soon the pair were involved in a mini-twitter feud.
Typical .... I spend the last hour talking some meaningful shit. And all you hear is "what happened to rap" I give up .... Hayi.

But fam. I'm confused at how you can discredit us and our work in a matter that had nothing to do with neither. https://t.co/olfU8OV1BM

Reason went on to further dispute AKA's claims, explaining that many rappers have spoken out on political issues in the past, but did not disrespect other artists when doing so.Imagine we said "no one wants to know if you feel like the baddest! ur feelings don't mean shit!", Just 2 make reference to political voice.

We've BEEN politically vocal. Many of us. That being said. We've never thrown shade at those who werent when we were. Das not togetherness.
