Amanda du-Pont hopes her shoe collection inspires others to be great
Amanda du-Pont's highly-anticipated shoe collection will officially be available from September.
The Skeem Saam actress first revealed that she was designing her own collection in collaboration with designer shoe company‚ Footwork South Africa in May this year.
Now, three months later, Amanda's shoe collection is ready to hit the shelves.
"My aim is to give women an exclusive shoe, a powerful shoe. Comfort was the most important thing when I was developing the line. There's nothing worse than looking like you can't walk in a pair of heels. How you walk is everything. You have to have the power walk," she said.
Amanda's sexy shoe collection is made up entirely of stilettos in four different styles, which are named after the women in her family.
The shoes are named after her grandmother, mother, and her two sisters.
"These women are all legends in my life, powerful women, who will represent powerful shoes. May these shoes inspire all women to be greater and walk towards their destiny," said Amanda.
Amanda's designer shoe collection will be available at Stuttafords and online at Zando, Spree and Superbalist.
The shoes range from R 450 to R800 a pair.
