Nasty C’s Bad Hair surprise tops the charts
It looks like Nasty C's new album is the hit that many predicted it would be.
The popular rapper has kept fans waiting for the release of his debut album from the moment he dropped his hit single Juice Back last year.
So, was it any surprise then that when the album Bad Hair finally dropped this weekend, it shot straight to the top of the charts?

Nasty C had earlier promised fans that he would release his album on Friday morning, but after some sampling delays had to push the release back a few hours.
As angry fans took to social media to vent their frustration at the delay, Nasty C silently uploaded the album for free download, where it quickly went to number one on music distribution site Audiomack.

And fans showed their gratitude for the gift, by making the album and several of its songs trend on social media for most of the weekend.
Even when Nasty C finally decided to make the album available for purchase on iTunes, the enthusiasm for the album was not dampened.
According to the rapper, the album went straight to number one on the iTunes album chart within 15 minutes of its release.

He went on explain why he decided to release it for free, before making it available on iTunes.
