Grateful Yvonne Chaka Chaka survives 'scary' Midrand shooting
SA music legend Yvonne Chaka Chaka is grateful to be alive. This after the star was nearly caught in the crossfire of a shooting that reportedly left one person dead and another injured.
According to Midrand Reporter, the shootout between hijackers and police took place in Midrand on Tuesday afternoon, after three men stole a panel van and were pursued by police.
Little did anyone know that Ma Yvonne Chaka Chaka was nearly caught in the crossfire of the shooting.
She took to Twitter after the incident to share a news report of the incident, calling it a "scary" experience.
She told a fan that police started shooting at the car next to her.

And then shared a picture of scene saying that she was grateful to have survived.

Yvonne described the incident as something from a movie, and thanked her followers for their support.
