Amanda du-Pont steps in for Nandi on BET A-list

Less than two months after bidding farewell to TV lifestyle show The Real Goboza, Amanda du-Pont has a new TV gig on BET's A-List.

The Skeem Saam actress will stand in for Nandi Madida while the star is on maternity leave, the station confirmed on Sunday.

Amanda will co-host the show with Ayanda Thabethe for the next three months, bringing viewers celeb interviews and lifestyle features from across the continent.

Amanda is obvs excited about the move.

"I'm excited and incredibly blessed to have joined the BET A-List family. It's an absolute honour to be able to fill in for my dear friend Nandi Madida while she is on maternity leave. I love both Nandi and Ayanda dearly – they are both such powerful and humble women. I love the show as it reaches throughout Africa, unifies Africa as a whole and still has international presence and opportunities," Amanda said through the statement.

Amanda will make her debut on the show this coming Thursday (November 17) at 18:35 on BET (DStv channel 129).
