Black Coffee shades Metro Awards: Maybe they should remain a radio station
The gloves are out, fam! It seems Riky Rick has opened a floodgate of shade towards Metro FM and international DJ Black Coffee is the latest to voice his opinions on the controversial awards that took place this weekend.
Black Coffee was in SA at the time of the awards but was not at the ceremony as he was on the bill for music festival, Ultra.
But he caught up the next day and watched what is supposed to be South Africa's 'premier awards show.'
He then took shots at the remix categoryJust watched the #MMA16....maybe it's time @METROFMSA do what they do best and remain a Radio Station?

Riky Rick caused a stir after he took to the stage during his acceptance speech to lambaste radio and the awards itself and said artists shouldn't rely on that recognition but rather put their music on the internet. This is definitely not helping the Culture..Most Artist before us died poor...we are trying to fix our https://t.co/O07wpGbMaE us instead.
