LOL! Dr Malinga is the night's big winner at his own awards ceremony

Who needs the MMAS or SAMAs when you can just reward yourself at your own award ceremony, right Dr Malinga?

The Akulaleki hitmaker was not happy about missing out on the Song of the Year award at the Metro FM Music Awards last month. So to make everything right, he decided to award himself the prize at his own music awards ceremony this week.

Malinga, who has been vocal about other artists deserving the award more than winner Nasty C, threw a ceremony at the offices of his entertainment company Linga Entertainment on Thursday.

He gave out several awards to employees at the company but was the night's big winner walking away with a customised trophy for Song of the Year.
