This shouldn't be new, but when last did you hear AKA give props to anybody that wasn't AKA? Can't remember, huh? We thought so too. But the Supa Mega is capable of giving credit where it's due and over the weekend he did a lot of that.

The Fela In Versace hit maker took to Twitter to give props to fellow rappers who he thought were doing the most.

The rapper said the whole mini "praise tweet session" was inspired by Stogie T's Swa In The Morning freestyle where Stogie bodied a lot of rappers.

AKA went and turned into a mini #AskAKA session where he made it clear that out of all the SA rappers who were ever guests on the American breakfast show, Nasty C and Stogie T were at the very top.

AKA explained that Nasty C should be "protected" because he was such a rare talent and was also as "cocky" as he was. He shared that in his eyes, K.O would always be a "god" in rap.

Mega also shared his collaboration wish list which include A-Reece, Sjava, Khuli Chana and Emtee.

It was the Stogie T freestyle that started everything, as it got AKA hyped and led to him watching all the other SA reps on Sway.

"Because of Tumi Molekane (Stogie T) I can proudly say that South Africa is the Mecca of African hip hop. There is no more room for debate. When it comes to this Hip Hop sh*t ... South Africa is the f**king level," AKA wrote.

And just in case you missed the freestyle, we got ya' back.
