Just hours after a video of Babes Wodumo getting into an altercation with a woman at an airport went viral, and sparked a massive debate on how celebs should act, the star posted a brief message on her Instagram talking about societies expectation of celebrities.

The self-proclaimed Gqom Queen took to her Instagram on Wednesday to post a video of the late Brenda Fassie,

In the video Brenda explains that she won't be taken for a fool by aggressive people just because she's a celebrity and she "can't" react violently.

"I can do anything I want do, anytime, with anybody I want. That is nobody's business. Because I am Brenda Fassie (doesn't) means I can't fight or say voetsek if anybody says anything to me"

Babes captioned the video with a brief but clear message of her own.

"We are all humans. Being a celeb doesn’t mean I’m an animal. I have feelings, emotions, a heart, etc. Let me be!"

Babes was the talk of social media for most of Wednesday after she recorded an argument she had with the woman in an Instagram Live session this week.

In a video from the session, Babes explained that she and her friends were at an airport when the woman told them to keep quiet. The star can be seen in the clip chasing after the unknown woman and confronting her.

Babes then launched into a full rant, swearing and telling the woman: "Don't f*ck with us".

The incident drew mixed reactions from fans on social media.

Some praised Babes for standing up for herself, while others claimed she was disrespectful for addressing an elder in such a rude manner.
