Wena wa phapha! Eva Modika slams Lady Du for commenting on her 'botched' surgery

Eva Modika has hit back at Lady Du after the singer allegedly made a snarky comment about her "botched" body. 

This after the Diamond and Dolls star took to Instagram stories recently to reflect on her failed first attempt at liposuction in South Africa, which led to her developing lumps in 2020. 

Though Eva had a successful Brazilian butt lift and liposuction in Turkey in April, when she spoke about the initial procedure Lady Du reacted, saying, “It's going to get worse".

Eva hit back, then called Lady Du out about a rumour she says the Umsebenzi Wethu singer spread about her. 

“Lady Du, wena wa phapha (you are forward!). You went to Mellow Luxury Hair to gossip lies about me. I know you said I only go to her because it's free hair, that I prefer Emporia Luxury hair more! When did I tell you that? You are such a liar! A big artist like you?”

Speaking to TshisaLIVE after her April procedure, she lauded the clinic for taking care of her, while criticising a South African hospital for allowing her to go home the same day.

“The experience at the hospital in Turkey has been amazing, the aftercare is superior. They literally check up on you every hour. I can walk about the hospital. The nurses help with breathing exercises and other techniques to help me recover fast. I love it here.”

Eva said she is feeling more confident after achieving the "hourglass figure" she always dreamed of.

“I had been planning to do the procedure for some time ... the pain is worth it. It means me taking more videos with less filters because I will have the confidence I need,”
