Pabi Cooper slams rumours she’s dating Focalistic, says she’s working on music

Amapiano sensation Pabi Cooper had her followers in their feels when she posted a snap of herself holding a bouquet of white roses on Instagram.

Soon after that speculation started doing the rounds that she and Focalistic were an item.

Gossip blogger Maphepha Ndaba took to Instagram and claimed Focalistic and Pabi were apparently an item. 

A source close to the pair revealed to TshisaLIVE the two are friends and said Pabi was too busy to be involved with anyone at the moment.

City Press reported that Focalistic and yanos DJ DBN Gogo’s relationship ended. 

"They are very private people, but they have broken up because of things they are never going to address in public,” a source told the publication.

The 'friend' even claims that another Amapiano star close to them, is the reason for their break-up.“There is another amapiano star who apparently messed with their relationship.”

The Khuza Gogo hitmaker shared a Twitter thread last year leading up to Valentine's Day showing off her teddy bear, sweet treats, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and other gifts she received from rapper Focalistic. 

“Valentine's Olympics,” she captioned the post.

“The perfect end,” she wrote in a video showing she was in a hotel room filled with rose petals while Focalistic poured a glass of bubbles. 

In October 2021, DBN Gogo's involvement with Spotify's Equal Music Program alongside American rapper Saweetie and Nigerian star Tiwa Savage saw her grace the Spotify billboard in Times Square in New York.

“That is still crazy to me that I was chosen to be on a billboard in Times Square, New York. The Equal campaign is about promoting women, giving women that platform, that extra push to say we're recognised and appreciated,” she told TshisaLIVE.

Focalistic is a leader in the amapiano genre and has grown his brand to the point of having international affiliations too. 

The rapper has a number of songs with Nigerian star Davido, including their joint EP collaboration with four songs that have captivated large audiences.
