Here's why Florence Masebe will temporarily replace Harriet Manamela on #SkeemSaam

Florence Masebe is to temporarily replace Harriet Manamela as “Meikie Maputla” on SABC1's Skeem Saam.
A statement on Wednesday said “unforeseen circumstances” caused Florence to take over the character for the rest of season 12.
“The decision came after Manamela needed to be placed on sick leave for an extended period. Manamela’s last scene for the season will air on April 5. From May 15 the character of 'Meikie Maputla' will be played by Florence Masebe,” read the statement.
Meikie is a feisty businesswoman who is very protective of her children and always ready to challenge anything that threatens the wellbeing of her family.
Fans of the show took to social media wishing Harriet well.
