Mfanele “Jareed” Nduku might have shaken things up during his stint on Big Brother Mzansi: Sya'Mosha, sparking controversy at times, but he left in good spirits and confident he left a mark for his future outside the Big Brother house.

“I'm grateful for the opportunity I received in the Big Brother household. I was very fortunate. People got to see who I truly am, and I've been myself for seven weeks,” he told TshisaLIVE.

“I had no strategy but I played it the best way I could, and the best way was being myself. I feel amazing right now.”

From the first week of the show, viewers witnessed many relationships form between contestants. Jareed was at the centre of a love triangle.

Jareed and Liema's chemistry had many captivated from the beginning, but things escalated when he started sneaking around with Mpumi and Els and others got involved.

“My genuine feelings were involved in all situations. Only later it transpired to being a game, but besides that, it was beneficial for us for some time.”

“That was some of my most memorable moments inside the Big Brother household. Because I've never had to be that person, so that was the first time I tried anything new.”

“When I first ventured out with Liema, it was the hun I was gunning for, that was the girl for me, then later on I started noticing with my wondering eye that Mpumi was showing an attraction to me. Later I realised that I have genuine feelings towards both of them, maybe one more than the other.”

“I wanted to rebrand and see myself in a different light and accept the things I have done. I'm proud of the person I've become.”
