Here are five top stories you may have missed this week.
Moyane vs Gordhan
Public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan is fighting former South African Revenue Service (Sars) boss Tom Moyane's bid to cross-examine him at the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture.
Gordhan's lawyer, Michelle le Roux, argued before the commission that the issues Moyane stated in his application have already been dealt with by retired Judge Robert Nugent in his investigation into Sars.
Deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo is yet to give judgment on the application.

Mondeor killing
A pupil at Mondeor High School in Johannesburg was stabbed to death on his way to school on Wednesday morning.
Police confirmed that three suspects, including a 13-year-old boy, were arrested in connection to the death of 19-year-old Kulani Mathebula.
ANC/EFF Lists
Political parties on Wednesday submitted their lists of potential members of parliament to the Independent Electorial Commission (IEC).
The candidates in the ANC top five include President Cyril Ramaphosa, David Mabuza, Gwede Mantashe, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma and Baleka Mbete
The list received much criticism on social media for including ANC figures that have been implicated in state capture and other controversies, including Bathabile Dlamini, Malusi Gigaba and Mosebenzi Zwane.
The EFF's list included surprise appearances, among them #FeesMustFall student leaders and singer Ringo Madlingozi.
Topping the EFF list for parliament are Julius Malema, Floyd Shivambu and Dali Mpofu.
#GuguNcube
A former employee at the University of South Africa (Unisa), Gugu Ncube, was arrested on Wednesday for staging a semi-naked protest at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
Ncube went to the Union Buildings to address President Cyril Ramaphosa after she was allegedly raped and abused at the university.
She was arrested for public indecency and appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
Joburg's R86m tender
President Cyril Ramaphosa has authorised the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) to look into the procurement of "red fleet" vehicles by the City of Johannesburg in an R86m tender.
The presidency said whistle blowers alleged that the "red fleet" vehicles were paid for, but not delivered.
