With most of the results in after South Africans voted in the country's sixth democratic elections on Wednesday, tensions and laughter graced the floors of  IEC's Results Operation Centres (ROC).

Our photographers caught some candid moments as politicians kept a close eye on the proceedings. Here are some of those moments:
