The amazing Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 concert that took place in Johannesburg this past weekend was a highlight for most South Africans, but a heartbreaker for Emakhaya hitmaker Mlindo who couldn't understand why he was left out.

The singer took to his Instagram to share his heartbreak over being left out of the star- studded lineup for the concert, which included Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams and Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

Using vernac and some of the lyrics from his song Sbahle, he asked, "What do people like Ed Sheeran have to do with Mandela because he's ours? But then what do I know anyway?"

"Mandela is ours abo Ed Sheeran and what what angaz bangenaphi? But ke ngibe ngiw'ban koda mina ngobavel'angfundile #listening to Emakhaya"

He also went on to share a short video of himself in an elevator sharing his distress over the "lost" invite!

*cues Beyoncé's words from 'Flawless': 'Of course sometimes sh*t goes down when there's a billion dollars in the elevator'*
