Nomfundo Moh's heart was warmed by a group of schoolchildren who sang a new version of her popular song.

You know you are ticking the right boxes when your song is embraced and given different renditions.

Taking to her Instagram, Nomfundo shared a clip of a school choir who sang her hit song Soft Life.

“This makes me so-so happy. A big shout out to these lovely pupils, the teachers and the school. May you all live to experience the soft life you manifest. What an influential song! What a time to be alive,” she wrote.

In her mentions her followers seemed to have appreciated the new version by the pupils.

“They gave a song a new version & it sounds perfect,” said one.

“Yes! Because timeless music isn't limited to genre,” added another.

Nomfundo has had a great year since the release of her two singles Umthwalo and Lilizela.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE about her success, Nomfundo said she planned to elevate herself to a point where she enjoys the spoils of her success.

“The release also opened my eyes and made me realise I should keep on pushing. Maybe more great things are yet to come.

“I'm not where I wanted to be when I started in the music industry. I'm still ticking the boxes on my wish list and still hoping to achieve a lot more. I'm grateful for the progress so far, but I'm hoping to achieve more as time goes by.''

The sultry vocalist was among some of the most popular winners at last year's South African Music Awards.

Nomfundo scooped the Best Afro Pop Album award for Amagama which spawned crowd favourites Phakade Lami and Soft Life.
