Four men gunned down in Cape Town supermarket

Gunmen fatally shot four men inside the Madiba Supermarket in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, on Tuesday night.
Three victims died in the store while the fourth succumbed in hospital, said police spokesperson Brig Novela Potelwa.
The motive for the shooting, which took place at about 7pm, is under investigation by detectives from the organised crime unit.
The identities of the victims have not yet been confirmed.

Community safety MEC Reagen Allen called for more crime intelligence and more police officers to be deployed to combat violence in Khayelitsha.
Allen said since March this year, including these four murders, 26 people have lost their lives in mass shootings in the township.
“I call on communities to assist the police and provide any information or details they might have so the perpetrators can be arrested and face justice.”
