One of Mzansi's biggest premium festivals, Rocking The Daisies, stopped traffic this past weekend as it made its return after a long hiatus due to Covid-19 regulations.
Renowned artists, local and international, graced the stages in Cape Town and Johannesburg for the three-day festival, including Blxckie, Nasty C, A-Reece, IAMDDB, BAS, Saba and Buddy.
Platinum-selling Grammy award-nominated singer and dancer Kehlani headlined the festival, making it her show performance in Africa, and she delivered.
From getting up close and personal with her audience to serving drip game on stage and showing off her dance skills, Kehlani gave it her all.
“Just headlined a festival in Cape Town, South Africa, at midnight, got not even 5 minutes of sleep because of jet leg. It's 6am and I'm going to fly to another part of SA to headline tonight,” Kehlani posted.
The singer apparently had to have medical attention after her performance.
She took to her Instagram stories asking fans to send videos of how she injured her neck, just in case the doctor needs proof.
“All the videos of me headbanging, send it my way because I need to show my doctor how I f***ed my neck up.”
