‘I’m so glad I carried on living my best life’ — Faith Nketsi slams haters that said she’d never get married

Faith Nketsi-Njilo is glad she didn’t rush into marriage — even after naysayers told her she would never get married. 

Faith and her husband, Nzuzo Njilo, tied the knot in April in a private ceremony. 

Taking to her Twitter timeline recently she shared with her followers that a stranger told her in not so many words that she would never get married.

“Lol. I remember posting a pic next to a statue cow in Durban and some small-minded person said: “That is the closest you will ever get to lobola”,  it became a whole meme. What u may think is an achievement, to someone else may seem like a normal Tuesday. I was 20/21 .

“Being married wasn’t something that would give me sleepless night. I’m so glad I carried on living my best life because if I listened to people that don’t know me, I would be living with regret and feeling robbed off of my youthful years worrying about being someone’s wife.”

The reality TV star shared how she met her hubby with her followers in a Q&A.

One of her followers asked Faith how she met Nzuzo. She said she met him through her best friend, Kim Kholiwe. Kim and Nzuzo were acquaintances and Faith said her friend mentioned that Nzuzo liked her.

“It was definitely by default. He would tell her that he liked me. Kim told me once in passing and we moved on. When he finally got the chance to talk to me himself without really saying that much, I melted at the way he looked at me. Then all was history after that night,” she wrote.

Since she tied the knot, Faith has been gushing over her hubby. In one of her social media posts she said she expected to start a family with Nzuzo and wake up next to him each morning for the rest her life.
