Vlogger, blogger and all-round mogul, Lesego “Thickleeyonce” Legobane has turned her love for fashion and photography into one of the most beloved online entities in SA.

If you haven't been to one of her LeeBex stores, you will probably have come across her many body-positive posts. We catch up with the model-on-the-move as she gives us all the tea on her must-have items. 

What is the best underwear and shapewear?

Woolworths. They have the best shapewear and you can get everything you need there. Ackermans has really good underwear as well but Woolies is your main plug.

Favourite local designers?

Thebe Magugu and Rich Mnisi.

Favourite makeup brand?

This is tricky because I use everything, but I’ll say lip gloss from Essence.

Foundation?

Maybelline.

Favourite splurge in your wardrobe?

My Balenciaga sneakers.

Favourite scent for the winter?

Chanel Chance.

Your most beloved accessories?

Simple gold hoops from Lovisa.

What trend are you most excited to explore?

Definitely faux fur and feathers for winter.

What can we expect from  LeeBex in the next year?

Becoming the biggest plus-size brand in Africa, with the best campaigns, best pictures, the best videos and the best content — we’re the biggest in Africa. From my mouth to the universe.

Your personal favourites in your stores?

We have these corduroy sets, which are oversized shackets and high-waist shorts. I love anything high waist and anything oversized.

Advice for young people about body positivity and positive body image?

The best advice is fake it till you make it. When you do something long enough it becomes routine and second nature.
