Tina Fey, Amy Pohler to return as Golden Globes hosts

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are to return as hosts of the Golden Globe Awards in January, it was announced on Tuesday.

NBC announced  that the comic performers and writers earned rave reviews when they co-hosted the glittering awards show last January and are now signed up to lead the next two Golden Globe shows in January 2014 and 2015 according to the announcement.

“They have always been our first choice as hosts and we’re delighted they are back for the next two years,” said Theo Kingma, the president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which presents the awards.

The Golden Globes are considered second only to the Oscars in Hollywood’s award season. The 71st annual Golden Globes will take place on January 12 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
