It seems that Cassper Nyovest is not about to do a Beyoncé and surprise fans with a new album.
In fact, it might be a while before we get another album from the Mama I Made It rapper.
Cassper may have recently promised to release new music each week in the build-up to his historic #FillUpOrlandoStadium concert in October, but that doesn't mean he is preparing a new album.
The rapper took to Snapchat on Monday evening to post a video explaining to fans that he will not be releasing an album soon, despite last releasing one nearly a year ago.
In a video captioned "Be Warned", Cassper said: "I'm not going to put out an album anytime soon but the day I do the industry is going to shut down," he said.
The rapper last dropped an album at his #FillUpTheDome concert last year and fans would be forgiven for thinking that he might have planned a new one for his upcoming Orlando show. Sadly, it seems that won't be happening.
So best just drown your sorrows in a Doc Shebeleza sing-along.
The bad news comes only hours after Cassper's rival AKA confirmed to fans that he is not planning to release an album this year either.
