Actor Wiseman Mncube recently celebrated his birthday with his family, which made it all the more special.

He shared snaps on his Instagram timeline of his wife and children giving him pressies and he couldn't help but reflect on what a blessing it is to be where he is.

“This day it really hit me how lucky I am to be blessed with such a beautiful family who love, appreciate, honour, value and respect me. I am grateful to be able to be the father and husband to you all.”

Wiseman was sitting on his chair unwrapping pressies from his family, visibly blushing as the gifts were handed to him one by one.

“I was woken up to such beautiful birthday gifts that filled my heart. Ngyabonga kakhulu to the mastermind that is my wife and my beautiful tribe my kids, you are the best. And thank you to everyone for such beautiful wishes, unkulunkulu anibusise.”

Seasoned actor Mondli Makhoba recently reflected on his friendship with the Safta award-winning actor and what they had been through together.

Mondli spoke about how proud he was of their journey together in the acting industry and both being cast in Mzansi Magic's prime-time drama series Shaka iLembe.

“Mkhulu, you are great at what you do as an actor. I remember when we were working out at Virgin Active Milpark, when I got the Generations: the Legacy email, you were doing Ring of Lies. I remember when we both left the house for SABC to work on Generations: the Legacy together. You were Skhalo, I was the Captain. I remember how proud I was when you started at Uzalo. I later got Imbewu, you were killing it on Uzalo. When you came to The Wife, I knew the character was safe.

“Now that we are on Shaka iLembe together, I'm proud of our journey. I appreciate you, Mahlobo. You are part of my story. And I cannot be told without you in it.”
