Swazi prophet Gcina Mtsetfwa has prophesied that the country will see more road accidents, rousing the ire of the Swazi public transport operators.

Mtsetfwa claimed that the reason for the country suffering more accidents was that God was unhappy with ancestor worship and prophets who performed magical stunts.

According to the Swazi observer, the operators gathered at a bus rank to discuss the prophecy, and concluded the problem was too many prophets and pastors.

“It is true that we believe these prophets and pastors have a hand in the accidents that we have been witnessing in the country and what is more astonishing is the fact that no one is doing anything about it," the Manzini Public Transport Operators said.

The operators are calling for churches to be forced to pay 50% of their donations in taxes, so as to limit their mushrooming numbers.

“There are people using their own houses for services where people actually gather and pay tithes and all. If every new church had to register with the conference of churches and would be made to pay 50% tax this would not be happening,” said one of the operators Vusi Matse.

Meanwhile the operators have challenged Miracle Prophet Nkosingiphile Dlamini of Bread of Life Ministries to change water into petrol to fill up all the kombis and taxis at the Manzini bus rank.

Apparently he normally changes water into grape juice, which isn't as useful.

“Instead of him changing water to petrol for people to drink he should perform his miracles that will actually benefit someone," said Maswazi Dlamini, another operator.
