A Zimbabwe man who is facing allegations of raping his 16-year-old sister stunned the court when he claimed that they were head over heels in love and that their mother allegedly blessed their incestuous relationship.
According to myzimbabwe.co.zw, the 20-year-old man claimed that their consensual sexual relationship started after their mother suggested that they should share the same bed.
This eventually lead to them having sex. The man is being charged with one count of rape.
The mother, who is allegedly mentally challenged, is denying the charges.
In his own defence he said: “Your worship, my sister and I are very close and when we had sex, we had both agreed to it, I did not rape her as is alleged. It is my mother who caused this to happen because she is the one who suggested we share the same bed and eventually led us into having sex.”
