Tshwane almost done‚ DA still leading

The counting of votes in the country’s capital city‚ Tshwane‚ is almost done and the Democratic Alliance seems to be well on the path to snatching the council out of the hands of the African National Congress. As at 10am with 99% of the votes counted in Tshwane‚ the DA led with 43.14% followed by the ANC with 41.2% and the Economic Freedom Fighters with 11.7%.WATCH: Late on Friday afternoon the DA celebrated being the biggest party in Tshwane ahead of the final results being announced. Maimane took the occasion to congratulates mayor-in-waiting Solly Msimanga.In Johannesburg‚ results were still coming slowly with 89% of the votes counted. The ANC led with 42.22%‚ followed by the DA with 41.18% and the EFF with 10.64%.The Electoral Commission of SA is expected to present the final results tonight at the Results Operations Centre in Pretoria...
