Julio Iglesias is heading to South Africa, performing at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town and at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City in Johannesburg.

The Platinum and Gold and Grammy award-winning singer has performed with the likes of Frank Sinatra and Willie Nelson. He began his career in 1968 when he won the Benidorm International Song Festival with his song La vida sigue igual. He shortly after signed a deal with Discos Columbia and represented Spain in the 1970 Eurovison song contest earning fourth place. In 1979, Iglesias moved to Miami, Florida, and signed a deal with CBS International.

In 1984, Iglesias released his first English album 1100 Bel Air Place, which went multi platinum and, according to organisers Cape Talk and SABC 3, “formed an all important bridge between European and American music.” The first single "To All the Girls I've loved Before", a duet with Willie Nelson, went to number five on the Billboard Hot 100.

His 2011 world tour stops in South Africa from November 5 to 8.
