Trevor Noah will join the cast of 'The Daily Show With Jon Stewart' which will air on Comedy Central.

Tweeting to his fans, Trevor Noah said, “Thank you so much for all your love and support.  Being part of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is such an honour. I can’t wait to start.”

Noah who was recently on tour in South Africa, will form part of the show's news team which comprises Samantha Bee, Jordan Klepper, Jason Jones, Jessica Williams, Lewis Black, John Hodgman, Al Madrigal, Aasif Mandvi, Kristen Schaal and Larry Wilmore.

Noah has been based in the States for over a year. He went overseas to pursue his dream of entertaining international audiences. He scored an interview on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Local audiences can catch The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central (DStv Channel 122) from Tuesday to Friday at 23:50 CAT, and repeats the following day at 01:55 CAT.
