Sbu Leope has bounced back after his dismissal from Metro FM. He will present a weekly show on Cliff Central starting on April 2.

Leope is set to join Cliff Central in a weekly slot, where he will present a radio show sponsored by his energy drink.

The show will air on Thursdays from 9am to 10am. Cliff Central made the announcement on their website today with Leope sending out a tweet confirming this.

"He’s unscripted, uncensored and brings the fire – join us... as we usher in a new chapter by bringing on musician and media personality, DJ Sbu, onto our line-up," the station said in a statement.

Cliff Central is an online radio station which also broadcasts on social network site, We Chat.

Leope was fired from Metro FM last week Tuesday. He was axed for promoting his energy drink on stage at the Metro FM awards. SABC bosses were unimpressed with Leope's ambush marketing as he was advised to not promote any brands either than that of sponsors. A report that the SABC would bill Leope for abusing radio airtime by mentioning his drink emerged thereafter.

Leope was later involved in a fracas with Forbes magazine after he used a fake cover on his social media accounts. Leope and the publication later reached an agreement after Forbes threatened to sue him.
