The revamped soapie which made its appearance in December last year is undergoing a cast restructuring after several actors did not get their contracts renewed.

Times LIVE has reliably learnt SABC 1's top soapie is set to shake up its cast after it opted to axe actors who were apparently not adding value to the drama anymore.

A source, who asked to remain anonymous, said Denise Zimba who plays the protagonist role of Mary was given the boot. Zimba was followed by Asanda Foji who bodies the character of Simphiwe, wife to Mazwi Moroka in the show. Ivy Nkutha who plays Gog Flo who joined the soapie as Gog Flo are also said to be leaving.

The source said the decision to axe the actresses was made after it was noted that their roles did not make a significant impact on the drama. Times LIVE also understands that there are more actors who have not had their contracts renewed.
